„Alpgues Loop trail“ is a moderate themed trail starting at Bergstation Grasjoch Bahn (St. Gallenkirch). Start and finish are the same, so you return to your car or bus stop without any shuttle.
The route measures 9.4 km, with 705 m of ascent, pure walking time is around 5 hours. The highest point is at 2,318 m, the lowest at 1,790 m.
The starting point is reached by cable car – in summer the ride is included with the Freizeit-WildPass (summer multi-day pass), otherwise a lift ticket is needed; the free Montafon guest card only gives a discount.
The route is rated family friendly and suits children who already enjoy walking.

The route leads from Bergstation Grasjoch Bahn via Grasjoch Hütte, Wormser Törl and Oberer Alpguessee and back to the starting point.

Start early – summer afternoons often bring thunderstorms. Carry enough water; many huts are only open from late June to late September.
From the holiday house in St. Gallenkirch the starting point is easy to reach by Landbus (stop 400 m away) or car – see the travel notes.

Landbus 650/670, stop St. Gallenkirch Valisera cable car; ski bus in winter. 2 km from the holiday house (bus stop 400 m away).
