How to read the difficulty

The bar (1–10) combines fitness (length and ascent) and technique (trail category, altitude, via ferrata grade): 1–3 easy, 4–6 moderate, 7–10 difficult. Trail categories follow Vorarlberg signposting: yellow-white = walking trail without special demands, white-red-white = mountain trail requiring sure-footedness, white-blue-white = alpine route with fall hazard, partly secured – experienced hikers only.
