Elevation profile↗ 169 m ↘ 921 m

In the Middle Ages the Montafon was a mining region – silver, copper and iron were extracted on the Bartholomäberg and in the Silbertal. The mining trail links the sites: show tunnels, miners’ chapels, old paths and place names that speak of ore. Around 12 km and 170 m of elevation over a good 3½ hours, easy, can be shortened at many points (bus).

A themed trail for days with rain breaks and for the culturally curious; the mining museum in Silbertal and the Frühmesshaus on the Bartholomäberg complete the loop.
