Three Lakes loop, Vandans
Leisurely village loop in Vandans to three small ponds at the foot of the Rätikon – ideal for families and the end of the day.
Vandans lies at the entrance to the Montafon beneath the Golm and Zimba. The Three Lakes loop from the Vorarlberg state hiking network leads over just under four kilometres through meadows and woodland to three small ponds where benches and picnic spots invite you to linger. The loop has little climbing and is easy with children; frogs, dragonflies and the view of the Rätikon limestone walls are the main attractions.
Combine the loop with the Rätikonbad Vandans (outdoor pool, approx. 25 % off with the Montafon guest card) or with a ride up the Golm from Latschau. From our house it is about 15 minutes by car or by Montafonerbahn/Landbus to Vandans.
