„Familien Adventure trail“ is a easy themed trail starting at Sportshop Golm Bergstation. The route ends at Golmerbahn Mittelstation Latschau, Latschaustraße.

The route measures 4.8 km, with 20 m of ascent and 1009 m of descent, pure walking time is around 3:30 hours. The highest point is at 1,911 m, the lowest at 995 m.

The starting point is reached by cable car – in summer the ride is included with the Freizeit-WildPass (summer multi-day pass), otherwise a lift ticket is needed; the free Montafon guest card only gives a discount.

The route is rated family friendly and suits children who already enjoy walking.

The route leads from Sportshop Golm Bergstation via Grüneck, Matschwitz and Golmerbahn Latschau to Golmerbahn Mittelstation Latschau, Latschaustraße.

Start early – summer afternoons often bring thunderstorms. Carry enough water; many huts are only open from late June to late September.

From the holiday house in St. Gallenkirch the starting point is easy to reach by Landbus (stop 400 m away) or car – see the travel notes.

🚌 Getting there by public transport

Montafonerbahn to Vandans or Tschagguns, Landbus to the Golm cable car in Vandans/Latschau (Golm valley station). From St. Gallenkirch: bus 650 with change in Schruns.

Free parking at the Golm cable car in Vandans and in Latschau (mid station/Gauertal car park, partly paid in summer).
