„Durchs Montafon: from Partenen to Bludenz and retour“ is a moderate bike tour starting at Ortzentrum Partenen. Start and finish are the same, so you return to your car or bus stop without any shuttle.

The route measures 63.6 km, with 490 m of ascent and 491 m of descent, pure walking time is around 4:50 hours. The highest point is at 1,049 m, the lowest at 558 m.

The starting point is reached by cable car – in summer the ride is included with the Freizeit-WildPass (summer multi-day pass), otherwise a lift ticket is needed; the free Montafon guest card only gives a discount.

The route leads from Ortzentrum Partenen via Kapelle Venser Bild, Tanzlaube Gaschurn, Alpin- und Tourismusmuseum Gaschurn, Ausgleichsbecken Rifa and energie.raum and back to the starting point.

From the holiday house in St. Gallenkirch the starting point is easy to reach by Landbus (stop 400 m away) or car – see the travel notes.

Landbus 650 to Partenen (terminus), Tafamunt and Vermunt cable cars a 5-minute walk; approx. 20 min from St. Gallenkirch.
