Mountain restaurant Bella Nova

The Bella Nova stands about 100 m from the Valisera Hüsli at the top station of the Valisera cable car at around 2,100 m and is the southernmost mountain restaurant of Silvretta Montafon. Unlike the Hüsli it focuses on South Tyrolean and Italian cooking: home-made pizza, pasta, rösti and Schlutzkrapfen (filled pasta), served at the table or in the self-service area. In front of the building is a large sun terrace with an outdoor bar which the operator calls the biggest ice bar in Vorarlberg; the glass front opens on sunny days. The Bella Nova is a winter-only business – in summer it stays closed and the neighbouring Valisera Hüsli is open instead.

In winter you reach the Bella Nova from our house in a few minutes: 2 km to the Valisera cable car (ski bus or bus 650/670, stop 400 m from us), then up by gondola. It sits in the middle of the Silvretta Montafon ski area (season 2026/27: 27 November 2026 – 11 April 2027) and works for a lunch break as well as for an après-ski finish before you ski down to St. Gallenkirch.

In winter take the Valisera cable car (2 km from the house) to the top station; the Bella Nova is a few steps from the Valisera Hüsli right by the piste.

💡 Tips & refreshments

Open in winter only. It fills up from noon – eat earlier or later. After après-ski keep an eye on the valley run or the last gondola down.
