The Grasjoch Hütte stands at 1,976 m at the top station of the Grasjoch cable car, which brings you up from St. Gallenkirch in about 12 minutes. Silvretta Montafon runs a waited-on restaurant here with its own kitchen concept – baked potatoes and potato dishes with changing toppings alongside Austrian classics – plus the umbrella bar on the terrace, where morning pints and après-ski take place in winter. The hut sits at the edge of the freeride area and near the snow park; in summer it is the starting point for the high-level path over the Kreuzjoch to the Hochjoch and for the Hochalpila cable car, which you change to here.

From our house it is 2 km to the valley station of the Valisera/Grasjoch cable cars (bus 650/670, stop 400 m from us; free parking in summer). In summer the ride up is included in the Freizeit-WildPass. The Grasjoch cable car runs daily in summer 2026 from 4 July to 13 September, then on three weekends until 4 October; the hut follows these dates and is open from 8.30 am to 4.30 pm. If you would rather not take the cable car back, walk down the Grasjoch path to St. Gallenkirch.

From the holiday house 2 km to the Valisera/Grasjoch valley station in St. Gallenkirch, about 12 minutes by Grasjoch cable car to the top station; the hut is right next to it.

💡 Tips & refreshments

The Grasjoch cable car's summer season is short (4 July – 13 September 2026, then weekends only) – check operating times beforehand. At almost 2,000 m take a jacket even in high summer.

Landbus 650/670, stop St. Gallenkirch Valisera cable car; ski bus in winter. 2 km from the holiday house (bus stop 400 m away).

Large car parks and underground garage at the Valisera/Grasjoch cable cars: free in summer, paid in winter (Silvretta Park garage always paid, 11 kW EV charging).
