Natural toboggan run Lindauer Hut - Latschau
The long winter toboggan run through the Gauertal: 6.6 km from the Lindauer Hütte to Latschau – climb on foot, descend in the snow.
In winter the track through the Gauertal becomes a toboggan run: 6.6 km from the Lindauer Hütte (staffed at times in winter – please check beforehand) down to Latschau. There is no lift – the climb on foot takes around 2½ hours, but the descent is long, scenically superb (Drei Türme above the valley) and usually quiet. Moderate because of the length and some steeper sections; children of school age with experience.
Hire sledges in the valley; car park at the Golm valley station in Latschau.
