Alpwanderung Nova
Short alpine pasture loop at the Alpe Nova from the Versettla cable car – cows, cheese and Silvretta views in an hour.
The Alpe Nova at around 1,900 m is a working alp with a cheese dairy between Garfrescha and Versettla. The alpine pasture walk from the middle station of the Versettla cable car is short and flat – just under three kilometres, about an hour – and shows what the Montafon summer is about: grazing cattle, alpine cheese from the dairy, views of the Silvretta. Ideal for families with small children and as a refreshment destination; via the Nova valley trail the loop can be extended into a half-day tour.
