This variant of the Madrisella summit trail uses the Versettla cable car for the ascent and ends in Garfrescha, directly above our house: over the summit (2,466 m), along the ridge and down via the Alpe Nova to Garfrescha, from there by the Garfrescha cable car or on foot to Gortipohl. Around 12 km, just under 600 m of ascent and considerably more descent, about 5 hours.

The trail is for sure-footed hikers – stony and steep at the summit, then relaxed alpine tracks with stops at the Alpe Nova and the Vermala inn. For our guests the logical “big loop” without a car: bus to the Versettla cable car, on foot back home.
