„Dorfrunde Gortipohl“ is a easy circular hike in the Montafon. Start and finish are the same, so you return to your car or bus stop without any shuttle.

The route measures 3.4 km, with 58 m of ascent, pure walking time is around 54 minutes. The highest point is at 925 m, the lowest at 871 m.

The starting point is reached by cable car – in summer the ride is included with the Freizeit-WildPass (summer multi-day pass), otherwise a lift ticket is needed; the free Montafon guest card only gives a discount.

Start early – summer afternoons often bring thunderstorms. Carry enough water; many huts are only open from late June to late September.

From the holiday house in St. Gallenkirch the starting point is easy to reach by Landbus (stop 400 m away) or car – see the travel notes.

🚌 Getting there by public transport

Landbus 650 (Schruns–St. Gallenkirch–Gaschurn–Partenen), stop Gortipohl/Garfrescha; ski bus in winter. 8-minute walk from the holiday house.

Free car park at the Garfrescha cable car valley station (summer). Walkable from the holiday house – no car needed.
