„Montafonerhausweg“ is a easy themed trail starting at Kuratie-Kirche Gortipohl. Start and finish are the same, so you return to your car or bus stop without any shuttle.
The route measures 3.0 km, with 63 m of ascent, pure walking time is around 1 hour. The highest point is at 961 m, the lowest at 898 m.
The starting point is reached by cable car – in summer the ride is included with the Freizeit-WildPass (summer multi-day pass), otherwise a lift ticket is needed; the free Montafon guest card only gives a discount.
The route is rated family friendly and suits children who already enjoy walking.

The route leads from Kuratie-Kirche Gortipohl via Montafonerhaus, Keller, Wohnhaus, Schindeldach and D´Stoba and back to the starting point.

Start early – summer afternoons often bring thunderstorms. Carry enough water; many huts are only open from late June to late September.
From the holiday house in St. Gallenkirch the starting point is easy to reach by Landbus (stop 400 m away) or car – see the travel notes.
🚌 Getting there by public transport
Landbus 650 (Schruns–St. Gallenkirch–Gaschurn–Partenen), stop Gortipohl/Garfrescha; ski bus in winter. 8-minute walk from the holiday house.

Free car park at the Garfrescha cable car valley station (summer). Walkable from the holiday house – no car needed.
