Gargellen ski area

Gargellen lies at 1,423 m and is regarded as one of Vorarlberg's snowiest regions. The ski area on the Schafberg offers 39 km of pistes (33 prepared, 6 ski routes) with eight lifts up to 2,300 m, wide cruising runs, freeride slopes and the legendary guided "Madrisa round tour" across the border into Switzerland. Short distances, hardly any queues – ideal for families and leisurely skiers.
