Silvretta-Bielerhöhe ski area

High-alpine mini ski area and ski-touring base by the Silvrettasee (2,030 m), reached by Vermunt cable car and tunnel bus from Partenen.

In winter the Silvretta-Bielerhöhe is the gateway to the Silvretta ski tours (Piz Buin, Ochsental, Bieltal) and offers a practice lift, cross-country trails on the frozen lake and winter walking trails. Access is without a road: Vermunt cable car from Partenen and tunnel bus. Check operating times per season (avalanche situation!).

Note: the Silvretta High Alpine Road is closed on the Vorarlberg side after rockfalls, expected until 2030 – car access only from Tyrol (Galtür). The Vermunt cable car car park in Partenen is closed in 2026 for construction; use alternative parking in Partenen village.
