via ferrata Röbischlucht

At the entrance to Gargellen the Röbisch stream cuts a narrow gorge into the rock – and that is exactly where this via ferrata runs. After a few minutes’ approach you climb along the steel cable just above the rushing water through the ravine, over rungs, small slabs and a rope bridge. The difficulty stays at A/B to B/C, which is why families with children used to via ferratas and beginners take their first steps here; travel reports from Germany and the Netherlands recommend it explicitly as an “adrenaline kick” for hot days because the gorge stays pleasantly cool.

At the top a hiking trail leads back to the village via the Rongg alp – about an hour for the whole loop. If you want more, add the neighbouring Rongg waterfall via ferrata straight away, which is noticeably more demanding.
