Silvrettasee Via Ferrata

A via ferrata on a dam wall – that is rare. At the Bielerhöhe the route runs along the wall of the Silvretta reservoir, over rope bridges and a pendulum section where you swing across the water on the rope. The difficulty stays at A/B, which is why international portals recommend the route “also for less experienced via ferrata climbers”; the thrill comes from the depth below your feet, not from the climbing.

With an hour of pure climbing time the tour fits well into an outing to the Bielerhöhe: the lake loop before, refreshments at the Madlenerhaus after. Reach the Bielerhöhe from Partenen by the Vermunt cable car and tunnel bus.
