Family via ferrata Little Ballun
Varied practice and family via ferrata (A/B) in the Silvapark Galtür with ramps, slabs and a small rope bridge – for children from 1.20 m tall.
“Little Ballun” is the little brother of the Ballunspitze via ferrata in the Silvapark Galtür, beyond the Zeinisjoch in the Paznaun valley. Over about a kilometre you get ramps, stepped slabs and a short rope bridge at grade A/B – built for children from 1.20 m and adults who want to learn handling the set. English-language portals praise it as a “varied practice route” with views of the Kops reservoir and Ballunspitze.
Access is currently via Tyrol (the Silvretta High Alpine Road is closed on the Vorarlberg side) – so it is better suited as a destination for a day trip to the Paznaun, together with the Alpinarium in Galtür.
