The route measures 4.2 km, with 93 m of ascent, pure walking time is around 2 hours. The highest point is at 1,130 m, the lowest at 1,038 m.

The starting point is reached by cable car – in summer the ride is included with the Freizeit-WildPass (summer multi-day pass), otherwise a lift ticket is needed; the free Montafon guest card only gives a discount.

Landbus 650 to Partenen (terminus), Tafamunt and Vermunt cable cars a 5-minute walk; approx. 20 min from St. Gallenkirch.
