The Gorfenspitze (2,558 m) above Galtür in the Paznaun is a destination for anyone wanting a summit with a “via ferrata feel” but no strenuous climbing: the route is graded A, the secured sections are short and the rest is a steep mountain path with just under 1,000 m of ascent. In return the summit rewards you with a wide view over the Paznaun, Verwall and Silvretta.

Around 7 km and 5 to 6 hours – a genuine day tour that can currently only be reached via Tyrol (Silvretta High Alpine Road closed on the Vorarlberg side).
