The Ballunspitze above Galtür is the home mountain of the Silvapark, and its via ferrata is one of the demanding tours of the Silvretta: solid gneiss, vertical passages and exposed edges at grade C/D to D, around 750 m of ascent. Because the route faces north, English-language portals explicitly recommend it for hot summer days. The summit at 2,671 m offers views over the Paznaun, Kops and Silvretta.

Approach by the Alpkogel cable car or from the paid car park; around 4 hours in total. Note: access is currently only via Tyrol, as the Silvretta High Alpine Road is closed on the Vorarlberg side.
