Via ferrata Burg
Short, punchy via ferrata (C) on the Burg above the Versettla summit station – an after-work tour with a big view.
The “Burg” is a rock head above the Versettla cable car in the Nova area, and its via ferrata is a compact affair: only a good two kilometres and around 240 m of ascent, but with steep slabs and edges at grade C. The short approach from the summit station makes it the ideal half-day or afternoon tour when there is no time left for the big loop – or as a warm-up before the Madrisella.
At the top you stand at 2,246 m with a view over the whole Montafon from Schruns to the Silvretta. Descend via the hiking trail to the summit station; stop at the Nova Stoba if you like.
