The Madrisella is the peak above the Nova area between St. Gallenkirch and Gaschurn. From the summit station of the Versettla cable car a high-level path leads to the start, then the via ferrata climbs over slabs, edges and short steep steps to the summit cross; tour portals rate it “difficult” and recommend it for experienced via ferrata climbers. At the top the Silvretta with Piz Buin lies at your feet, with the Rätikon opposite.

At around 8 km and 800 m of ascent the tour is a day’s undertaking of about 5 hours; the descent follows the hiking trail back to the summit station or – as the “Bike & Climb” variant – from the Alpe Nova by e-bike to the foot of the wall.

Cable car ride included with the Freizeit-WildPass; mind the last descent. Do not start when thunderstorms threaten – the ridge is exposed.

🚌 Getting there by public transport

Landbus 650, stop Gaschurn Versettla cable car (approx. 10 min from St. Gallenkirch); ski bus in winter.
