At the Golm car park in Latschau there is a small practice via ferrata where beginners and children can try out handling a via ferrata set, helmet and steel cable: grade A/B, hardly any elevation gain, done in half an hour. It is intended as preparation for the larger routes of the region and can be combined with a Golm day (Alpine Coaster, forest rope park, cable car).

The route leads via Klettergarten Tschagguns-Latschau and back to the starting point.

Start early – summer afternoons often bring thunderstorms. Carry enough water; many huts are only open from late June to late September.

From the holiday house in St. Gallenkirch the starting point is easy to reach by Landbus (stop 400 m away) or car – see the travel notes.
