3D archery courses Brandnertal (Brand & Bürserberg)

In 3D archery you walk a forest course and shoot from marked pegs at life-size foam animal figures – focused, quiet and with plenty of walking between the stations. In the Montafon itself we could not verify any permanently operated course for 2026; the TUI BLUE Montafon hotel in Schruns refers its guests to courses “nearby”. The nearest permanent facilities are in the neighbouring Brandnertal: in Brand a 3D course with 34 stations runs about 2 km and 100 m of ascent through the forest (start on the meadow behind the Alpenlodge by the Alvierbad, about 50 minutes), on the Tschengla above Bürserberg 28 animal targets stand in the woods, and the operator ACS Brand also lists a 42-station “Grüner Wald” course on about 20 hectares.

The courses are meant for archers with their own equipment (Brand: May to August 7.00–18.00, September to April 8.00–16.00). Beginners book a taster session offered as part of the Brandnertal guest card programme – according to the tourist offices on Tuesdays at 18.30 in Bürserberg and Wednesdays at 18.30 in Brand; ask ACS Brand for prices and registration (Christian Beck, +43 664 73481541). From our house it is a good 40 minutes by car via Bludenz. If you would rather not drive that far, the Klimmerei bouldering hall in Bürs is on the same road.
