Mini golf at Aktivpark Montafon & Gaschurn

Mini golf in the Montafon is a small village affair – and all the nicer for it. In Gaschurn the Wachter family runs an 18-hole course in the Gässli on a self-service basis: from 10.00 to 20.00 you buy your round at the machine with €2 coins (according to the tourist board €4 per person, as of 2026); from 14.00 in fine weather there are drinks, ice cream and grilled snacks, and every Friday from 18.00 locals and guests meet for a mini golf get-together with a joint game. The 2026 season runs from 20 April to 31 October. From our house bus 650 takes about 10 minutes to Gaschurn, or cycle there on the valley cycle path.

The second option is the Aktivpark Montafon in Tschagguns (bus 670, 14 minutes by car), which alongside the Alpenbad, tennis and adventure forest also has a mini golf course – ask at the Alpenbad ticket desk for times and prices, as the operator does not publish them online. If you are in Gargellen, you can play a round of Pit-Pat at the Landal Hochmontafon, a mix of mini golf and billiards, 10 % cheaper with the Montafon guest card. Our tip: mini golf in Gaschurn after a swimming day at the Mountain Beach, which is only a few minutes away.

Gaschurn: Wachter family mini golf, Gässli 26a, in the village centre (bus 650 approx. 10 min, cycle path). Tschagguns: Aktivpark Montafon, Schwimmbadstraße (bus 670 stop Aktivpark, 14 minutes by car).

💡 Tips & refreshments

Bring €2 coins for the machine. Friday evenings are busier – but the mini golf get-together is a nice way to meet locals. In rain, head for the Erlebnisreich tent at the Aktivpark instead.
