Tennis in the Montafon

The nearest tennis for our guests is in Gortipohl itself: the Tennisclub St. Gallenkirch-Gortipohl (Blendolmaweg 82b) also rents its clay courts to visitors, booking is round the clock via the tennis04 online system, and the Montafon guest card gives around 15 % off an hour’s court hire. The valley’s biggest facility is at the Aktivpark Montafon in Tschagguns: seven clay courts of the Tennisclub Montafon, founded in 1954, with changing rooms and showers, also bookable online or on the touchscreen at the entrance; the 2026 outdoor season began on 10 April. In rain you move indoors in Tschagguns – the Montafoner Tenniscenter at Gardengaweg 11 has two carpet courts (indoor shoes required, by phone booking only, +43 5556 75180), and the tennis centre at Schmelzhüttenweg 12 has offered padel since June 2026: rackets and balls are included, and the access code comes with your booking confirmation.

The facilities publish hourly rates only in their booking systems, so we quote none here. The Aktivpark is 14 minutes from our house by car or by bus 670 (Aktivpark stop); the office is staffed Monday to Friday 8.00–12.00. Ask the clubs about coaching; children’s rackets are best hired from the sports shops in the valley.
