The Teufelsbach waterfall loop is the family and beginners' route among the Silbertal running trails. From the sports ground (882 m) the path climbs gently over the wooded Burgkopf and after a good 2 km reaches the Teufelsbach waterfall, where the stream from the Kapell area plunges into the Litz; a small bridge takes you close to the water. The return follows the river via Felsa and Wüarri. According to the track 4.4 km and 141 m of ascent, guideline 49 minutes walking time – running it, half an hour. According to OpenStreetMap the surface is mostly gravel forest road with short woodland and boardwalk sections, so it runs well even in wet weather.

Along the way are the stations of the Litz adventure trail – long jump, sound play, raised hide and balance beam – which keep children running the loop while the parents fit in a few pick-ups. For more, add the Wasserstuben mountain run or the Panorama Trail, both of which pass here. Refreshments in the village or a little further up the valley at the Fellimännle inn. From our house it is 16 km or around 20 minutes; by buses 650 and 680 via Schruns about 35 minutes to the Kristbergbahn valley station, 900 m from the sports ground.
