Lünersee

One of the most beautiful mountain lakes in the Alps (1,970 m) with cable car from Brand and level loop (approx. 6 km) – 35 km from the house.

The Lünersee in the Rätikon is a classic: the Lünersee cable car glides from the head of the Brandnertal up to the Douglass-Hütte by the lake; the loop around the deep-blue lake takes 1.5–2 hours and is fine with children. From here tours start to the Totalp, the Schesaplana (2,965 m) and the Saulakopf via ferrata. Very popular – arrive early on fine days or come by bus (line 580 from Bludenz); the cable car ride is included with the Freizeit-WildPass in summer.

🚌 Getting there by public transport

Montafonerbahn to Bludenz, Landbus 580 to the Lünersee cable car (approx. 1 h 15 in total).

Paid car park at the valley station, full early on fine days.
